Michał Żebrowski received his Master’s degree in Physics at the NCU in Toruń. Currently, he is working on his doctoral research. He deals with nanophotonics and plasmonics.
His recent work focuses on a holistic view of upconverted and avalanche emissions from single nanocrystal doped with rare-earth ions. This includes experimental and numerical examination of the interplay between temperature, energy transfer and plasmonic enhancement and their combined impact on the luminescence efficiency.
